Analytical Techniques for Pesticide Residues Testing
AES Laboratory follows standard test protocols as well as in-house developed and validated methods for pesticide residues testing.  Some of the standard protocols followed include AOAC, PAM, EN etc.  Several extraction and cleanup techniques like liquid-liquid extractions, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), Dispersive Solid Phase Extraction (dSPE or QuEChERS) are used for maximum recovery of pesticide residues from the food matrix.  Residue quantification is carried out suing several mass spectrometry & selective chromatography techniques like GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS & GC-ECD.
