AES Laboratories dairy product testing service analyzes and tests the sample of milk and milk product as per FSSR 2011 by FSSAI and Residual Monitoring Plan (RMP) issued by Export Inspection Council of India.

A wide variety of test are carried out depending on the type of dairy products.  Some of the tests include:

  1. Chemical analysis like fat, protein, milk protein, total nitrogen, non-protein nitrogen, total solids, SNF, moisture,  WPNI, titratable acidity, free fatty acids, salt content, Reicher-Meissel value, Polenske value, peroxide value and much more.
  2. Microbiological analysis including total plate count, coliform, E.coli, Yeast and Mold, somatic cell count, thermophilic and thermoduric bacteria and pathogens like Salmonella, Shigella, Listeria monocytogens, Escherichia coli O157:H7, Enterobacteriaceae, Staph. aureus etc.cheese
  3. Nutritional analysis like fat, protein, carbohydrates, sodium. potassium, Cholesterol, fatty acid profiling and various vitamins.
  4. Residue analysis that includes testing of mycotoxins (Aflatoxin M1), pesticides, heavy metals and various veterinary drug residues.
  5. Adulteration tests like added urea, cane sugar, starch, detergents, neutralizers, formalin, hydrogen peroxide etc.
