Numerous representation have been received in FSSAI from FBOs engaged in manufacture & distribution of Neutraceuticals, Food supplements & Health Supplements regarding large scale enforcement activities undertaken by state food safety department.
It has been decided that till the standards of Neutraceutical, Food supplement & Health Supplement are finally notified, the enforcement activities against such FBOs may be restricted to testing of Neutraceuticals , Food Supplements & Health Supplements with respect to requirements in draft notification on such product uploaded on FSSAI website dated 9th September 2015.
